when i lived in italy, around early 2006 i guess, i was biking around the countryside and found this dead duck lying beside a stream and decided to draw him.
Another ancient (8 years old) drawing of an ancient (25BC) sculpture. I used to obsessively draw with ballpoint pen - hence the crappy corrections of the foot and the confusing bicep on the right arm. This is the Laocoon - which the non-mutant-turtle Michelangelo worshipped - since it took about a million (1500) years for marble sculpture to be freestanding again. #facts.
i have a tonne of drawings of sculptures i did when i was 17/18. I visited the vatican/florence a couple of times just to draw stuff. I still had some problems with hands/feet. This one is of michelangelo’s pieta.
